About Us

Since 1994

Established by Jason Macdonald in 1994 above the notorious Purple Turtle in Cape Town. A couple of years later, we moved to the hustle and bustle of Long Street, and 10yrs later we opened a second studio in Century City. Wildfire has become one of the powerhouses of tattooing and piercing in Cape Town.

We are unwavering in providing a clean environment and sticking to the highest modern safety standards possible. Constant training, research, and experimentation ensures that the staff is at the forefront of all fields of the business, be it in piercing techniques, aftercare methods, or technical knowledge of our jewelry. Our experienced and professional employees turn something painful into a pleasurable experience. We’ll help navigate our clients in the right direction when it comes to choosing the tattoo or piercing they have always dreamed of with as little blood, sweat, and tears as possible.
